Boomer 

Boomers stand at about 8ft tall, bristled with muscle and considerably thicker than other humanoids they’re surprisingly able to move at speeds faster then expected.

Though these locust are larger then a majority of the other Locust they are unbelievably unintelligent, deadly in battle and are tough opponents to deal with, there are reports of them surviving a full magazine of Lancer ammo.

Boomers of all types often shout a single word respective of their weapon for example, Boomers with Boomshots would shout “BOOM!” while ones with Digger Launchers would shout “DIG!”.

Other variations of the Boomer include, Maulers, Grinders, Flamers, the Onyx Maulers, Tremors and Butchers. 

Corporal Dominic “Dom” Santiago
Date of Birth: 19 B.E.
Date of Death: 16 A.E.

Beloved husband, father and best friend, Dominic Santiago was awarded the Embry Star for his actions at Operation Leveler while he served as a Commando and fourth-generation Gear in the Coalition of Ordered Governments army.

Dom was killed during a Mission to Mercy, sacrificing his life to destroy a fuel tank that wiped out a large Locust and Lambent force that had trapped Delta-One.

Sergeant Jonathan Harper

A nine-year veteran Soldier and Commander to Echo-Nine, he was infected with Rust Lung, and was a prisoner of war of the Locust before his escape. 

Jonathan Harper joined the COG six years after E-Day and fought the locust for nine long years and participated in three major offensives. He fought alongside Michael Barrick as a part of Echo-Nine and contracted Rust Lung after the Lightmass Offensive.

During Operation Hollow Storm, Harper was captured and tortured by the locust. He would leave notes on Locust behavior and tactics and encouraged fellow prisoners to escape. While being forced into a coffin-like pod he surprised his captor with a quick punch and proceeded to kill the Locust.

Using this opportunity, Harper made his escape and ran away until being found by Jace Stratton of Alpha-Seven then, taking a dead Gear’s armor and Lancer he joined the fight to make it back to the surface.

Harper later took part in the evacuation of fellow prisoners. He was fatally wounded protecting a mother and her daughter as they boarded.

As he died he was just glad to have saved that family and see the sun one last time.

Many of his notes would be recovered by Marcus Fenix of Delta-One.

Did you know? 

The Stranded are the people of Sera who couldn’t get to the Jacinto Plateau due to the short time limit Chairman Prescott set up so the Locust Horde could not be warned of an impending attack. 

Once the generals of the COG unleashed the orbital beams and chemical weapons on planet Sera, the Stranded were all left for dead and homeless in the streets of the outlying cities. Left alone to fend for themselves without the protection of the Coalition to fight against the Locust Horde.

Kantus

Kantus are Locust priests and a caste level in the Horde.

Using their powerful screeches to communicate throughout the underground network of the hollow, Kantus are deployed majorly as medics on the battlefield.

Mainly wielding a Gorgon Burst Pistol, these vicious grubs use Ink Grenades and have special abilities that give them the power to revive downed Locust soldiers and summon Locust Tickers to fight on the battlefront. 

*It is highly recommended and encouraged to take out these bastards as soon as they appear 

After a three day evacuation, which was exactly three days after Bloom, the Hammer of Dawn was deployed. While it was normally the Duty of the Tactical Officer’s job to fire the weapon, Chairman Prescott decided to personally take that burden upon himself and press the two buttons that fired the Hammer of Dawn. 

Anything outside of Jacinto Plateau was ultimately destroyed and completely burned to ashes.
